The time is 1.00 p.m. and I just got the Mid-day. According to Mid-Day, Shiney Ahuja had apparently confessed to the crime. I apologize for the insensitive joke above. Being a woman, I know how heinous rape is. The problem is that treatment meted out to alleged perps under the rape and anti dowry laws is so ridiculous that one does feel for the man. The treatment seems to be arrest first, enquire later. It is just so easy to frame a guy! I personally know of two instances where this has happened. Hence, my earlier scepticism.

As a side note, how does this daily thing work for you. It is mostly quips on current affairs. You can choose to ignore and not disclose considering me competition

@Sangfroid, you make it sound like it’s nothing! It’s not all that easy to come up with quips all the time. Sometimes the obviously funny thing jumps to mind. The challenge is to find something funny to say even when you’re feeling creatively challenged or generally unfunny:-)
I was wondering how writing these down helps you unclog the mind and let the creative juices flowing ?
The match was damn disappointing! And that is exactly what my friends and I were discussing today about the match- that yuvraj should have been sent on the field instead of Jadeja. And it sucks royally when you come SO close to winning and then lose the game. Thats like the worst way to lose!
To think that shiney ahuja has a two year old daughter.
I wonder how such people live with themselves- when you have a wife and daughter and you take advantage of a teenage girl. Totally sick it is!
@Medha, I agree. It was such a huge disappointment. As for Shiney Ahuja, let’s wait a bit and give him the benefit of the doubt. I still find the whole thing bizarre.
